This past Memorial Day weekend I had the honor of photographing Michelle and Paul’s stunningly beautiful wedding in Sarasota, Florida. Their ceremony was held at The Ringling Museum of Art with the reception taking place at The Ritz-Carlton Sarasota, two iconic venues that are quintessential to Sarasota. Michelle and Paul couldn’t be anymore sweet, fun, and might I add, easy on the eyes. Michelle’s look was elegant with a hint of old Hollywood glam. Her dreamy Monique Lhuillier gown fit her like a glove, and her simple jeweled headband added a touch of romance to her whole look. Paul was a picture perfect groom with his dapper look and fabulous head of hair. These two really were a perfect match! The weather was divine and not too hot. Guests sipped on cucumber infused water while taking their seats in the Ringling Museum courtyard overlooking the statue of David. Michelle and her Father walked down the aisle all while Paul stood at the altar with the biggest smile on his face. The backdrop for portraits was endless which made Jessica and I very happy photographers! The dark gray bridesmaid dresses and black tuxedos mixed with the pink-washed walls of the museum made for the perfect color combination and we had a ton of fun shooting their portraits. The same color palette was used at their reception which was stunning! Pale pink linens, gray chivari chairs, ivory hydrangeas, and tons of candlelight set the tone for the romantic scene. Lisa Stoner of E-Events and her “E-Girls” did an amazing job of transforming the ballroom into a warm and intimate atmosphere. Confetti flew through the air during the last song which was none other than “Shout” a wedding classic! This was such a fabulous wedding and I loved photographing every minute of it. Congratulations Michelle and Paul, your wedding was so perfect!
