Red, White, and “Richly” in Love: The Wedding Story of Julie and Rich – June 2nd – The Ritz-Cartlon, Orlando

There’s a certain heir about these two…you can see it immediately when you’re around them. It was during their engagement photo session when I first fell witness to it…how in unabashedly in love they are. And so, I find the title of their story, “richly in love”, as that is the best way to describe Julie and Rich.  The energy they exude is undeniably uplifting and it clearly shows right down to their color palette. Warm, passionate, and fun, yep…that’s these two.  Blue skies, the mercury set to about 90 degrees, and perfect white puffy clouds painted the backdrop for that Saturday. And I can’t forget to mention that fabulously iconic hotel, The Ritz-Carlton to host all of their amazing festivities. In a nutshell, it was the perfect day. Julie wore an angelic Vera Wang gown and gold satin Badgely Mishcka shoes, while her lovely bridesmaids slipped on claret red gowns each designed to their own style. Rich and his handsome groomsmen donned classic black tuxedos with none other than a red rose as their boutonnieres.  Julie and Rich’s ceremony was a beautiful combination of both Jewish and Christian faiths.  They chose to have their “first look” in the privacy of her bridal suite. There, Rich waited patiently outside her bedroom as Julie excitedly opened the doors with one of the biggest smiles I’ve ever seen. The moment was beyond and I am so tickled to be there to witness it. Truly one of the perks of my job. After a few portraits and the signing of the Ketubah, it was onto the dramatically lit and amazingly decorated ceremony, where they would tie the knot under the Chaupah. Oversized branches, hundreds of crystals, with rich pink and red uplighting, set the tone for their emotional ceremony.  Gold embellished linens, more crystals, and tons of candlelight transformed their reception beautifully, as well as made it the perfect transition from ceremony to celebration. Guests heard heartfelt speeches, danced to the classic Hora, and ended the amazing night with a dazzling sparkler send off.  I am truly honored to have had the blessing of getting to document Julie and Rich’s engagement and wedding. I wish nothing but happiness and lots of love for you both!
